Become the Empowered Daughter: Life Beyond the Mother Wound

For women ready to stop replaying old patterns and start leading their own lives.

Welcome to The Empowered Daughter

This work is for women who already see the pattern. You know your early relationship with your mother shaped how you love, work, and lead — and you're done staying there.

I teach practical self-leadership built on a real understanding of how you were formed — attachment, nervous system, lived experience — combined with a clear path toward who you're becoming.

This isn't about analyzing the wound forever. It's about building the capacity to choose differently, starting now.

More honest. More grounded. More self-trusting. More fully in charge of your own life.

Healing the Mother Wound —

An Initiatory Path to Becoming the Woman You’re Building

The people-pleasing. The over-functioning. The habit of confusing love with loyalty, and your own comfort with everyone else's.

At some point, something in you decides: I cannot keep betraying myself and call that healing.

That's where this work begins. Not with becoming someone else. With telling yourself the truth, and building the capacity to act on it.

A woman standing in an open doorway, gazing outside at a scenic landscape during sunset, with soft pink curtains, a flower vase with pink roses, and a lit candle on a small table inside.

What If Your Healing Wasn’t About Fixing Yourself…

But About Coming Back to the Woman You Already Are?

The woman who trusts herself. Who speaks clearly. Who knows her sensitivity is discernment, not weakness.

That's the empowered daughter — not a woman who spends her life managing old patterns, but one who names them, learns from them, and builds something better.

What Changes With This Work

Understanding what shaped you. Real inner steadiness. Becoming the leader of your own life.

Kelly has helped me a lot in my personal journey. She helped me reflect on some childhood wounds and put my personal experiences into perspective. She offered me guidance in finding my purpose in life. She taught me about the Hero’s Journey, which led to deep reflection on myself and my path and finally gave me the chance to fully develop my potential and follow my own purpose. I have since started a small business, which allows me to unfold my purpose and passion and integrate the lessons life has shown me into my work. I am very grateful for the ways Kelly has helped me, listened, and shown me the different opportunities life has to offer. Thank you!

What I Teach

Your healing is a practical process — understanding yourself, reclaiming your capacity, and building a life that reflects who you actually are.

In this work, you will discover:

Understand what actually shaped you
Attachment, nervous system, childhood patterns, explained in plain language, not jargon.

Turn insight into action
Boundaries you actually hold, choices you actually make, not just new vocabulary for old pain.

Use your sensitivity as strength
Discernment and steady boundaries instead of overwhelm

Treat your story as a doorway, not an address
Something you move through, not somewhere you live.

The Pillars of My Work

Understanding what shaped you
attachment, childhood development, nervous system education, in grounded, practical terms.

Direct self-inquiry
Honest work on real patterns, guided by Compassionate Inquiry and somatic awareness, not endless analysis.

Embodied practice
Ritual, ceremony, and movement used as tools for integration, not as atmosphere.

Boundaries and self-trust
The discernment to protect your energy, your time, and your choices.

The Heroine’s Journey
A structured, research-backed framework for the return to yourself.

Self-Leadership & Life Design
Clarifying your values, auditing your life, and building what comes next.

Self Leadership Coach • Mother Wound Guide

I help growth-oriented women understand the patterns that shaped them, build real self-trust, and become the leaders of their own lives.

My mother left when I was eleven. My father moved us across the country soon after, and I grew up around his drinking with no family nearby to fall back on. I married young, became a mother at twenty-one, and spent over a decade in a marriage marked by abuse before I left with the help of a women's shelter. A second relationship, and a second heartbreak, cost me a family I'd helped build over seven years. By my mid-thirties, my body was telling the truth my mind couldn't yet: I wasn't sleeping, I was dissociating, and I was terrified to build a life on my own.

Talk therapy had helped me survive. What finally helped me change direction was an ayahuasca retreat in Peru, where I got the clearest look I'd ever had at my own patterns — and started, for the first time, to actually rewrite them.

I'm 50 now, in perimenopause, and I recently graduated to yellow plates in Olympic weightlifting. I run my own business, work a corporate job supporting a board of directors, and I'm the primary support for my adult son, who has Asperger's and Tourette's and lives independently. I competed in roller derby at an international level. Confidence was never a feeling that arrived for me — it's evidence I built, one choice at a time.

My work draws on Compassionate Inquiry with Dr. Gabor Maté, ICF PCC-level coach training, and attachment and nervous-system education — plus a life spent actually practicing what I teach.

I'm not a therapist. This is coaching and self-leadership work, for women who are resourced enough to do it and ready to actively lead their own becoming.

The Heroine’s Path

A 12-Week Initiatory Program for Women Ready to Build a Life That Feels Like Their Own

For women who are ready to move beyond insight and into sustained, supported transformation.

The Heroine’s Path is a cohort-based journey through the deeper arc of this work: understanding what shaped you, rebuilding inner safety, reclaiming what got organized around survival, and consciously building a life that reflects who you’re becoming.

The journey unfolds through five stages:

Lay the Ground
Meet the Past
Rebuild Safety
Reclaim the Self
Integration & Return

This isn't about rushing to a new version of yourself. It's about becoming steady enough to stop abandoning yourself, honest enough to choose differently, and supported enough to build a life that's actually yours.

Who This Work is For

This work is for women who:

  • know something deeper is calling them

  • are willing to tell themselves the truth

  • have done some healing and are ready for transformation

  • want to move beyond insight into embodiment

  • are ready to stop organizing around old patterns

  • want to build a life that reflects who they actually are

This Work is Not For You If…

You're in acute crisis and need immediate clinical or therapeutic support. You're mainly looking for comfort or validation rather than change. This isn't the season where you can commit to practicing something different yet. You need stabilization and care first — that's real, and this path will still be here when you're ready.

What Clients Are Saying

Sitting down with you, in your sacred space, and connecting, was a gift in itself. Better than all of my talk therapy sessions combined to be honest. Heart activating. Genuine. Thank you.

K. M.

I can’t say enough about Kelly and her work. She has a gift, a mission, and deep wisdom earned from life experience. She helped me make significant connections yesterday, grateful for our time together.

Lisa

I had hit a frustrating place in my personal growth. I had this big idea that I could manage it all on my own, but my attachment to that idea was actually holding me back. I showed up at Kelly's door with a "garbage bag" full of the work I felt I needed to do, and no idea where to begin. She calmly reached in, and pulled out one piece, and that's where we began. She took my disorganized overwhelm, and helped me sort through it, one thing at a time, until it all made sense.

I felt seen.Kelly is the space one needs to learn to look at themselves without judgement or shame. She is the love that feels safe to be real in.
